Road Marking Paint Description

Road marking paint is a topcoat paint with high wear resistance, air drying, and matte appearance.

Road Marking Paint Application Areas

Road marking paint can be easily applied to the mentioned surfaces due to its special design for high wear on asphalt and concrete surfaces. It can be used as parking lot marking paint, ground paint, road marking paint, and machine park paint.

Road Marking Paint Application

Surface Preparation: In direct road marking paint application to the surface, surface preparation to achieve the expected success of the system is as important as the application itself. Dirt remaining on asphalt roads and concrete surfaces should be cleaned by wiping with an appropriate solvent and cleaned with dry air or a clean brush. After these processes, it should preferably be applied to the surface within 45 minutes at the latest. After opening the package of road marking paint (2831-1101), it is preferably homogenized by mixing well with a drill motor. To bring the mixture to application viscosity, Industrial Thinner (1151-1401) is added in the recommended ratio. The mixture gives the application viscosity. (In spraying applications, the application viscosity should be adjusted to 20" - 40" / DC4 / 20°C, and in brush and roller applications to 25" - 40" / DC4 / 20°C.) During Application: Air temperature should be between 5°C and 50°C, surface temperature to be applied should be between 10°C and 30°C, Relative Humidity < 85%. Important Reminders: Necessary ventilation should be provided in indoor applications to avoid any health problems or fire hazards. After the process, all paint equipment used during the application should be thoroughly cleaned with 1451 - 1401 Industrial Thinner. The surface should not come into contact with water for at least 12 hours after the application.
